E-Commerce and Internet Technology
Todays topic is E-commerce and technology, if you have any ideas to add be sure to comment!
A New Gym:
I would
recommend integrating Glowfox into a website for a new gym. Currently used by
very well-known brands such as UFC Gym and Snapfitness 24/7 who have a gym in
Waterford
“Glofox is
an all-in-one gym management software. You can easily manage classes, accept
payments, create a branded app for your members, capture and nurture leads, and
so much more”.
Inventory:
Glowfox lets gyms manage
classes (class size, times), track attendance through peoples profiles, and
automatically sort peoples memberships.
Payments:
Automated
membership tracking, track vouchers and account credit information and can also
take payments for once off payments through its system.
Booking:
Time slots or
classes can be easily booked through its “two-click gym booking system”.
Booking slots is straight forward for people using the website and can be done
in just 2 clicks.
Real
time data: Glowfox
gives real time data to customers and employees on who is booking classes and
other information to management such as class attendance, membership purchasing
and much more.
A.I. integration:
Advertisements on
gym offers or classes can be personalized on the customers app based off
pervious activities as it is all stored within the app.
A New Clothing
boutique
I would
recommend using shopify for a new clothing boutique as it has a user-friendly
interface and is easy to operate. Its advantages for a new clothing boutique
would be stock inventory management and payment options. Shopify would be considered
one of the most popular plaforms, often sponsoring Mr. Beast Youtube videos which
get over 50 million views
Inventory:
Shopify provides an
inventory system easy to track stock levels, manage products and update new
items
Payments:
Uses multiple secure
options for payments. Variety is key as customers get to choose hiw they can
pay.
Bookings:
Shopify can arrange
for a boutique to have a delivery system for online and “click and Collect” options
again giving customers a choice.
Real
time data: Gives management
real time data on who is buying what and customer feedback.
A.I.
Integration: Again,
personalised ads can be integrated based off what the customer has previously
ordered automatically or looked at. Customer engagement can also be encouraged
through A.I. in regard to automated emails for reviews or abandoned carts.
A New Café
I think a café
should use Square Online as it would be easier as its functions are best suited
for a café.
Inventory:
An easy-to-use app
for managing menu items by segregating food and beverages including all
ingredients which can be adjusted at ease.
Payments:
Square online can offer
a coffee shop an integrated payment processing function for online and in
person so all payments are to the one sector e.g SumUp card machine or cash
Bookings: In store pickups can be arranged, such as Starbucks.
A time can be arranged for your food/coffee to be collected.
Real
Time Data: Square
Online can give management information such as most popular products and busy
times so the café can prepare to have extra stock or extra staff.
A.I
Integration: Recommended
drinks and food can pop up on the app or website used like JustEat use.
Personalised ads used in app.
